Stephanie Line is being honored by Patricia Fox in the 100 Extraordinary Women Initiative.
As a dedicated educator Steph worked to give her students skills for life. For her colleagues, she planned activities and kept morale high and in retirement established a Facebook site to keep the group connected. She is involved in the community and lets others know of opportunities to also serve. One source for doing this is the Facebook site, Galesburbians who love the Lord, for which she is an administrator. Steph is a long-time member of First Christian Church, Galesburg, remaining active with their Blessing Box Ministry and Congo Task Force. She worships weekly and serves at The Ascent Church, Galesburg. She is a member of Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary organization of women educators. She also volunteers with Lutheran Food Bank and CCHN (Community Churches Helping Neighbors). Steph uses her talents to serve in her community and encourages others to also do their part for the welfare of all.
