About the Galesburg Public Library Foundation

The Galesburg Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable institution founded in 2007 in order to raise funds to enhance the Library’s ability to sustain, improve, and increase its many resources and services. The Foundation works with the Library so it will continue to be a vital part of the greater Galesburg community.


The Foundation is led by Heather Sipes, Executive Director, and the Board of Trustees, with the Galesburg Public Library Director serving in a consultative capacity. Trustees serve four-year terms.
